This TIME article kept me grinning from ear to ear. Its about Friendster Facebook MySpace and goodness knows what else we have. Stein’s humour is supreme.
Discovered a new world of John Irving. From Trying to Save Piggy Sneed:
“This is a memoir, but please understand that (to any writer with a good imagination) all memoirs are false. A fiction writer’s memory is an especially imperfect provider of detail; we can always imagine a better detail than the one we can remember. The correct detail is rarely, exactly, what happened; the most truthful detail is what could have happened, or what should have.”
: ) It drew me into the book.
And lastly, an Einstein quote I found in a testpaper:
“Happiness never appeared to me as an absolute aim. I am even inclined to compare such moral aims to the ambitions of a pig.”
I laughed out loud in the library.

Interesting Time article there. Realized you read quite a bit of their articles? Nice quote too. =))
i saw that quote!! it’s in one of the prelims paper rite?? i think is… dunno… innova or anderson… but isn’t the part abt err… beauty, truth and err… ambition?? more important??
I subscribe to TIMES…partly for the sake of General Paper. Haha. Yes bean..I forgot which GP paper that was…yeah, the quote is about beauty truth and dunno what…but that is so cliche…the pig part is the only funny part! haha
