Song of Solomon 4
In verse 12, The Lover says:
You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride;
you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
In verse 16, The Beloved says:
Awake, north wind,
and come, south wind!
Blow on my garden,
that its fragrance may spread abroad.
These words captivated my heart. It was one of the rare moments the Bible spoke to me. I realised then, that I only needed to let you do your work, let you blow…so my jasmine fragrance can spread abroad…abroad…abroad…
I am laughing…because the flower cannot work to control the wind…
